Today, the results of yesterday’s local elections have been announced and while we didn’t win a seat this time, we’ve achieved something far more important: we made our presence known, our values heard, and our movement felt. In Runcorn and Helsby, every household received a leaflet from Volt UK. From the letterboxes to the streets, we’ve been out talking to residents, listening to concerns, and sharing our bold vision for the future. People told us they were tired of being ignored or being taken for granted. But they were also hopeful, open to new ideas and ready for change. That’s what Volt UK offers: a different kind of politics. One that’s evidence-based, future-focused, and committed to fairness across the UK and Europe.
